Kenya Classic: Hard work, magic moments
Kenya Classic is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to take on an amazing cycling adventure while broadening your horizons and making the world a better place. This incredible 6-day event takes place at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro between the 11th and 18th of October, 2014 and is limited to a maximum of 100 participants. Kenya Classic benefits AMREF Flying Doctors in Africa whose mission it is to break the cycle of poor health and poverty in Africa. During the event, you will get to visit AMREF projects and see with your own eyes where and how your sponsor money is being used. The Kenya Classic WILL change your life while you are changing the lives of others!
The first three editions of the Kenya Classic were a great success and have raised over 1.3 million euro. The event takes place in the Amboseli region in Southern Kenya, with the impressive Mount Kilimanjaro on the horizon. The Kenya Classic is a challenging adventure for cyclists and mountain bikers. In 6 days you will cover approximately 400 kilometres of red earth and dirt tracks, through some of the most beautiful and rugged scenery. The Kenya Classic does not cover a lot of elevation, except around the actual foot of the Kilimanjaro, but the tracks and the climate are challenging. You will never get another opportunity like this to experience a country, culture and cause.
